You know, it warms my heart to see the industry of soundproofing of all kinds booming as much as it has been in the past years.
I recall a time when it was something only professionals could hope to afford or some such other nonsense.
I sure could’ve used access to good, cheap and effective soundproofing back when I drove my first ever car.
Let me tell you, that beat-up, second-hand clunker was such a hellion of noise pollution that to this day I thank my lucky stars it did not somehow manage to noise me to death.
Nowadays, my problem might even be the opposite, were I in a similar situation.
How am I supposed to make a decision on what sound deadener to use when there's so much choice?
You might recall us discussing one of the main competitors for today’s product of interest.
Here is a refresher, in case you need to be reminded of how that went.
Overall, however, there are many things to be said about Noico and almost all of them extremely positive, so let’s get right into it, without further ado.
We’ll be reviewing and rating all possible aspects of the Noico product line, to ensure you get a comprehensive idea as to why this might be the choice for you.
Noico Sound Deadener Review
Here we’ll be looking at some of the characteristics any good soundproofing product needs to have and that have to be considered, when making this review.
Overall, we’ll focus on:
Of course, there’s much more to these categories than just these words can describe, but it’s a good way for you to see the review in the order you’d like.
1. Features of Noico
First of all, a general remark on the brand itself.
This is largely believed to be the single most high-end brand that’s also still competitively priced.
The incredible user reviews from hundreds of people all agree that the pricing is more than generous, for such an outstanding product.
This means that we have to take into account what all of these features are and what they’re praising.
First of all, it has an amazing overall rating for noise reduction.
From what I can gather, using several sources, the noise deadening level starts at about 70% for even the toughest cases.
You can rest assured that that is a lower limit and found in situations where the demands were truly amazing, like soundproofing large cars or vans.
The upper limit was actually close to complete and utter silencing, which is mind-boggling when you realize it's such a readily available product.
Secondly, you have to keep in mind that Noico offers more than just noise reduction, it offers actual, noticeable sound absorption as well.
What this means, when applied practically, is that it actually enhances the sound of your car stereo or whatever you like to listen to when driving.
This is an amazing boon, since you’d normally have to use specifically made acoustic equipment to manage this and you can rest assured that that sort of thing is far too tricky to put up even in a studio, let alone a car.
This adds to the quality and appeal of Noico’s offer immensely.
Even if further down the list, this next item on the agenda is vitally important.
Noico’s heat and moisture resistances offer:
You see, heat and moisture in the air can definitely ruin your car’s soundproofing.
The list of potential problems is endless, but let’s try and list at least a few here:
With Noico and their amazing workmanship and materials, you are sure to avoid these unpleasant occurrences, which means you’ll find yourself having a much easier time, regardless of your climate.
Noico is fine even if you live in the desert or in the great, frozen wastes of the North.
On top of this, you can rest assured it will stay odorless and last you a good, long while.
Generally speaking, quality and good pricing mean you at least have to swap the product out regularly, but here that’s not the hidden caveat.
Beyond that, the quality of sound deadening and everything else remains the same through the years you use it, with even the most extreme cases of drop-off not reporting any truly significant changes and drops in quality.
Finally, to end this festival of praise for the quality, I’d be remiss not to mention the thickness Noico generally offers.
For the sheer amount of the product they give you, it’s a very, very good proposition.
The 80mms they offer for their mats is a huge departure from the norm, which is usually 60mms and thus they offer a full quarter more of thickness.
This is obviously part of the reason why Noico works so well and is universally praised.
2. The Value
As has been stated already, Noico is a truly amazing value for money proposition. Let’s go a bit into why that is, now:
You might think that all these amazing things come only in a small package, forcing you to purchase multiple Noico products.
That's the surprising thing since that's really not the case.
Instead, you have amazing offers on packages that can easily cover an entire car, offering 36sqft worth of material.
On top of this, the price range for said material can go as low as a mere $1.5 per square foot, to, at the most, in extreme cases, $2.5 per square foot.
That is as competitive as a high-end product can get without going to extreme lengths.
Finally, something to admire is how available Noico products are.
Sometimes, companies will create artificial shortages, when offering so much quality for so little money, but they are adamant in providing a good and continuous supply.
3. Applies Easily
Yes, the praise keeps coming. Beyond all the other benefits, Noico is also very easy to install.
It’s got a very good, self-adhesive application, so you’re not going to have issues with it peeling away or making it stick.
This is a huge time saver and generally makes your job much easier.
Furthermore, the process itself is so simple that you usually don’t even need a manual, but you get one, obviously.
Even the peel is so easy to remove, so you can begin applying the soundproofing in minutes.
It's also quite flexible and versatile, allowing you to apply it to a lot of different areas with ease, even bending to accommodate your needs.
Here are all the places you can apply it to:
This range of options in where you can apply it obviously makes it easy on you to customize where you want the soundproofing, as per your needs and wants. That’s just icing on the cake, at this point.
4. The Color and Design
Quite possibly the only part of this review where I can’t just praise Noico, the color schemes on display and the design of the mats itself are not ideal.
They certainly aren’t to my tastes, I will admit.
Black and silver being the predominant choices make it a bit difficult to work with any colors that don’t match those too well, but it’s still not a huge issue.
Minor discrepancies can be tolerated, after all.
The diamond shape design sort of stands out, I’ll give it that, but it could be a bit too bold for some.
Me, personally, I feel it’s fine, even if not as great as the rest of the features.
Conclusion: Noico Sound Deadener Review
There you have it, a comprehensive review of one of the market's top contenders.
You now know what to expect and hopefully, that clears up any doubts you had about purchasing Noico.
